From the kangaroo's pocket

Australia is the love of my life, at first sight. I will never forget the beautiful scent of eucalyptus, the cry of Kookabuura - a giant kingfisher, and the red desert with ULURU - the sacred mountain of the Aborigines - the Aboriginal indigenous people of Australia, which atracts me like a magnet.

This is a photo from the year 2007...

Mount Uluru in the background and me in the kangaroo jump :)

Happy as the Alchemist who reached his pyramids, for those who don't know the story - happy like a happy hippo :). For me, it has always been this mountain, filled with mystery, alone in the middle of the desert - the largest monolith - the largest natural stone in the world. The geological age is estimated at 600 million years. During the day, they change colors through orange, red to brown. For Aborigines, the mountain is sacred and they demand that people treat it with respect! Ideally, you shouldn´t climb on it, take stones, or destroy it... If you want to know ULURU better ... take a walk along the circular route. From each side it looks a little bit different, somewhere it has washed grooves from water, elsewhere it has different holes .... highly INSPIRING... :)

Our adventurous journey is just beginning...
